What is an EIN recovery?
Your EIN never expires, but the proof of it can get lost: the original IRS letter (CP 575) is issued only once. When a bank or a platform asks you to prove your EIN and you cannot find it, you need the IRS to confirm your number or issue a replacement verification letter (147C).
We handle that request with the IRS on your behalf, so you recover both the number and a document that proves it.
When do you need it?
Banks, payment processors and marketplaces regularly ask for proof of your EIN: to open an account, to verify your business, or to unfreeze one. If the original letter is gone and nobody in your company remembers the number, your operation can stall.
Instead of calling the IRS yourself, waiting on hold and navigating the process in English, you hand it to us and we keep you posted until the document is in your inbox.
What we need from you
You answer a short form right after paying. We ask for:
- 1Your company’s details as registered with the IRS
- 2The responsible party’s details (the person the IRS has on file)
- 3Where to send the documents (your email)
What you get
- Your EIN number back
- An official IRS proof of your EIN, by email
- Updates on WhatsApp along the way
Questions about this service
How long does the recovery take?
Usually 3 to 10 business days, depending on the case and on the IRS. We confirm the estimate with you when you order, before we start.
What document do I receive?
An official IRS verification of your EIN (the replacement for the original letter), which banks and platforms accept as proof.
What if I never had an EIN?
Then what you need is a new EIN, not a recovery. That service costs $50 and takes 2 to 5 business days.
Does the $75 include everything?
Yes. The request with the IRS, the follow-up and the document by email. No hidden fees.
